Our vets are able to use advanced veterinary diagnostics in our in-house vet lab to provide an accurate diagnosis of your pet's medical issues.
- Radiography (Digital X-Rays)
With a digital x-ray, or radiograph, we can examine your pet's internal systems to see what's happening that may not be visible from the outside.
Radiography is a painless, non-invasive and safe diagnostic method that uses only very low doses of radiation. Because this required level of radiation exposure is very low, even very young pets and pregnant females can have this procedure.
Radiographs may be used to assess bones and organs, and to diagnose conditions including bladder stones, chronic arthritis, spinal cord diseases, broken bones and some tumors.
- Ultrasound
During ultrasound imaging, a specific part of the body is exposed to high-frequency sound waves to produce images of the inside of your pet's body.
Because ultrasound images are captured in real-time, the movement and structure of your pet's internal organs can be viewed, in addition to blood flowing through the blood vessels.
